Discretionary Education
Krazan encourages its fulltime employees to pursue continuing education for personal improvement. Fulltime employees may apply for educational reimbursement on a pre-approved basis. These classes do not have to be directly related to your job duties (but it is the intent to select course work that will better the general performance of the individual as it relates to our overall business).
The course work cannot interfere with the normal business hours of the employee. You have to pay first out of your own pocket and then after the successful completion of the course work (C or better grade) and proof of completion, you will be reimbursed the agreed upon amount. The reimbursement is typically between $100 and $350 per school semester (depending availability of funds and the relevance of the coursework to the job).
Please remember, this program requires a pre-approval before starting the class work or studies. That is, there is an agreement between you and your manager but has to be approved by the General Manager prior to the start of the semester.
If your future job duties interfere with completion of the educational course work, then you will still be reimbursed.
Please contact HR for the details. It is easy!
